The Old Stable, Iken is a 4 star, self-catered, fully equipped and cosy, converted stables that sleeps up to six guests. Having been lovingly and thoughtfully restored, it has an authentic, welcoming and homely feel, coupled with all the modern comforts one could need. The Old Stables is set in the beautiful countryside of the Suffolk coast, nestled in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and surrounded by farmland. The property offers outstanding views of the tidal River Alde, perfect for wild swimming, bird watching, cycling, walking and boating, or maybe just relaxing. Should you want to venture further, the surrounding areas offer plenty of things to do. Directly adjacent is St Botolph's (Iken) Church (654 A.D) this little known, thatched church is a true hidden gem. The Snape Maltings is a great place for shopping or eating. It also boasts a great pub and world-famous concert hall. Towns to visit nearby are Orford, Aldeburgh and Woodbridge.
